In my speciality the most important thing is to know how to listen to the patient and to create a good therapeutic environment., to try to empathise with the patient and create a climate of mutual trust so that both psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological treatment can help the patient to improve his or her mental suffering as quickly as possible.
At the Centro Clínico Integral Psiquiátrico, which I have been directing for more than 20 years, we have extensive clinical experience in treating patients in the speciality of adult psychiatry, as well as children and young people, and also in the specialities of psychology, neurology and endocrinology. We are therefore a highly qualified centre for the treatment of patients with psychiatric, psychological, neurological and endocrinological problems.
In conclusion, our extensive experience makes us a serious and faithful reference in Malaga, where patients meet with professionals who attend to them in a humane and scientific manner, with the aim of obtaining the best results and that both the family and the patient know that they can contact me at any time for any type of problem. where they are attended to personally, both by email and telephone, and are also provided with consultations via videoconference by skype. As a result, even patients in places outside Malaga, including abroad, are seen every week and feel perfectly secure in their medical care and have all their questions and concerns answered.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that we are dedicated to all Mental Health problems, being especially relevant in dealing with Bipolar Disorder, Depressive Episodes, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Behavioural Disorders and Addictions.
We also have an important dedication to Legal and Forensic Psychiatry, for the issuance of judicial reports, given that I currently hold the position of Vice-President of the Spanish Society of Legal Psychiatry, since 2013, continuing at present. Finally, it should be noted that "our Centre" also possesses a very important section on "Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychology". This means that the entire population, from children to the elderly, is being cared for in all its multiple problems.
